The Southbridge Fire Station is more than 125 years old and does not efficiently support the operations of a 21st century fire department. The purpose of this web site is to provide information to the Southbridge community on the facility study process to address the needs of the fire station.

EXISTING

Trucks and equipment barely fit through the doors, decontamination of trucks and gear is done outdoors, and the building does not meet many local, state and federal codes including ADA accessibility. These are just a few of the inefficiencies of the existing Southbridge Fire Station.

Prequalified sub-contractors have until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 to submit their e-bid on projectdog.com (866747). Prequalified General Contractors have until 2:00 PM on April 9th, 2025 to submit their bids
